Sophie paced the bathroom floor. The whole five feet really didn't provide much room for her to worry, but she managed. She couldn't believe she was even in this position. She was married, so it wasn't like this happening was the worst thing in the world, but their marriage wasn't really what one would call "average." She hadn't seen this coming. She was psychic and she still couldn't have predicted it. Sure, when she'd seen her future with Ash, she'd seen a couple children in their future, but she thought that it would be much much further into their future. She was needed for other things than rearing children right now. So, when she started feeling sick all the time, and having the oddest cravings, she knew something was up. She didn't want to worry her husband with it though, not if it wasn't true. So, she'd kept quiet. He was busy saving lives, he didn't need to add her drama to his life too. No, she'd figure it out for herself. She paced and looked down at her watch, biting her bottom lip.
"15 seconds..." She said, and returned to pacing. She couldn't take it anymore. Why did this have to be the longest 15 seconds of her life? She'd been in dangerous situations before. She'd been maimed, psychically destroyed, and pushed down a flight of stairs, but this was the most agonizing 15 seconds she'd ever experienced. She did a little dance when her time was up and reached for the test. She covered her eyes with her hand and held the test up to her face. She peeked through her fingers at the little sign on the test. She dropped the test and stepped back. "Damn." She said and bit her bottom lip. She felt overwhelmingly happy, but also extremely upset. This baby, wasn't supposed to come yet. On the eve of the apocalypse, her baby wasn't allowed to be born into a world like that. She held her stomach in a protective way. She could feel the life growing inside there, and it scared the shit out of her. Given what she and her husband did for a living, she wasn't sure she wanted their child to be born. She would have to tell him now though. She was happy, because any mother would be happy, but she was also terribly sad, because she knew their child wouldn't get the life that it deserved.
She left the bathroom and went to the dresser. She took off her clothes and stood in front of the mirror. She giggled a little as she looked at her profile and tried to push her stomach out to look pregnant. She already knew she was going to love this, but she wasn't going to be allowed to go on any more hunts with her husband, which would make her worry. She set her hands on her pushed out stomach and laughed. She looked ridiculous in her lacy red lingerie, pushing her tummy out. Most women sucked in when they were dressed so sexily. She'd planned a little surprise for her husband when he returned home, but with this news, she wasn't sure if she'd open the door to him in her underwear anymore. She grabbed a pink robe and slid into it. She laid down on the bed and curled up, falling asleep almost instantly. She didn't realize how exhausting finding out you were pregnant could be. Her dreams were mostly nice, sweet dreams about her child and the great future he or she could have. Now there was no way the apocalypse could happen. She wouldn't let it.

Doing research was no fun. Sounded like such a shocker, right? Normally the image of leafing through big dusty tomes seemed to just scream "fun fun fun", but unfortunately, it just wasn't the case. In actual fact, it was very... not fun. It was time consuming and boring and really, really tedious, but unfortunately the Internet was down in the little public library, and Ash didn't feel like pushing his luck and asking if somebody could fix the damned thing, mostly because the librarian already seemed pretty ticked at him that he'd somehow managed to swindle him into letting him stay late. Oh sure, the guy had work to do, lists to go through, all that stuff, but he probably wanted to do them alone, without anybody around. Or... maybe he was secretly a wild kinda guy who had women over when nobody was around and was pissed that he wasn't getting laid tonight. The guy was about 5"6' and around eighty million years old, but... yeah. Maybe he had some kind of angle that Ash didn't know about. Maybe he was secretly stinking rich? And he was just so eccentric that he spent his time working as a librarian at the local public library. Or... you know, not.
Research was hard when he did it by himself, it really was. Sophie was the smart one. He was just the muscle. Ash wasn't exactly a dim bulb, but... he was more than happy to leave the book smarts to his darling wife, put it that way. Plus, she made this stuff not that unbearable. Normally they had the Internet to help speed things up, but... yeah, that wasn't a luxury he had right now. Unfortunately. When they had to do the book thing, she made it fun. She made it seem like some kind of study date. And... he loved that. Also her. He loved her. So much so that he smiled when he thought about her, even when he felt like he was about to fall asleep, because frankly, this wasn't the most enthralling of things.
Now, you might be wondering, if Ash loved having his wife around so much, why wasn't she with him right now? Well, the answer was simple. He wanted to give her some time to relax. She didn't need to be here in some stuffy library going through dusty books trying to dig up dirt on some big bad they were in the process of tracking. She deserved some time to just relax, chill out, take it easy. There was no doubt in his mind that this would be a much less exhausting process if Sophie was here to lighten the mood, but... she wasn't. And he'd decided to do something nice for her, so he'd have to suffer through this until he got back to the motel and hopefully was received with that fantastic brand of loving only she could give. Namely, the physical kind. Not... that she was the only one that could give that, just... nobody gave it better. Or... took it better.
"Eh, semantics."
He hadn't said that very loud, but the elderly librarian stared daggers at him as soon as the words had left his lips. The guy was probably just starting to believe that maybe he'd get his peace and quiet or whatever only for Ash to shatter his little... preconception... thing. Not that he really cared all that much, it wasn't he'd done it on purpose. ... for the most part.
Firing off a little smile, a polite one that made the librarian shake his head, mumble something under his breath and then go back to his list checking, Ash glanced at his watch. When he saw how late it was, he wasn't sure if he should have been thrilled that he could go back to the motel without a guilty conscience or if he should be annoyed that he didn't get what he was looking for.
It took him about two seconds to remember that he may well get sex.
So... yeah. He was thrilled. Very, very much so.
Putting the books back, bidding the librarian a falsely chipper goodbye, one that was returned with a roll of the eyes and a dismissive gesture, Ash left the stuffy librarian and started to head back to his lodgings, where his hopefully awake wife would be waiting for... snuggle time. That put a bit more of a spring in his step. He kinda ran home at that point, actually.
Not too much later, he found his way back to the motel, made his way to the room, fished for the keys in his pocket, produced them, unlocked the door, closed it behind him when he entered and was greeted by the sight of his gorgeous wife! ... asleep.
Typical.
Oh well. She probably needed a good nights sleep. He wasn't going to lie, the image of scantily clad and exceptionally horny Sophie had made him almost trip over himself on the way here, but... he could wait. He hoped.
Slipping off his shoes, setting them by the door, he tip toed over to the bed and sat down at the foot of it. For a few moments, he just stared. His wife was - as ever - the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. It wasn't often that he could stop and appreciate that, but now was one of those times. He didn't intend to pass it up.

Sleeping was something that Sophie didn't get much of. It wasn't for lack of trying, it was just hard for her, since half of her dreams contained some sort of prophecy or person in trouble that they'd have to save, and it just never ended up with her feeling well rested. So finally having a dream about the perfect life with her husband and unborn child felt good, it felt right. Another thing about Sophie though, was that she was a light sleeper, and she had excellent senses when it came to her husband. She could've felt him coming if she was knocked out cold. A light sleep really wouldn't hinder her. She remained lying on the bed when he came into the room, and pretended to be sleeping as he moved about and finally sat on the edge of the bed. She felt it sink with his weight, and she could feel what he was thinking, although, she'd never been that great at reading him. She really didn't need to be good at reading people to know what Ash thought about 99% of the time that they were together. She loved him for that though. She was usually just as frisky as he was. She had every right to be, they were married. Of course, that friskiness was what had gotten them into this predicament. Well, it wasn't really a predicament, since she was really elated about it. She was just worried about how he'd react.
"You're staring." She said with a small smile, her eyes remaining closed. Her grin slowly spread across her lips from corner to corner until it covered her entire face. She opened her eyes slightly and smiled down at him warmly. "You're back." She said with a grin and sat up quickly. She felt a bit of a headrush and had to steady herself before she smiled at him dreamily. "I was just thinking about you..." she laughed a little bit and turned and looked at her pillow for a few seconds. "... actually dreaming about you, would probably be more correct." She said with a sleepy smile as she turned back to him. She climbed the short distance down the bed to where he was sitting and put her hand on his face. She lightly pressed her lips against his and smiled. "Welcome home." She said with a slight giggle and bounced a bit on the bed. She always felt giddy when her husband came home. He was the most important person in her life, and she always worried about him. Even when he went off the research alone she worried. He was a hunter after all, and hunters had a tendency to not only find the bad guys, but to draw them in as well. No, she didn't want her husband to die like that. If he was going to die, it would be when they were both old and she was holding his hand as he gracefully passed away in his sleep. No demon would get her husband, not on her watch.
She smiled and rested her chin on his shoulder as her fingers rubbed his back and her other hand rested on his thigh. "How was research?" she asked, putting on a concerned face. She knew that he hated it, and it was barely bareable when she was around to help tease him through it, but without her, it must have been even more boring. She had waited all day for him to come back, and she wanted to tell him her news, but he was just too delicious looking for her to not want to hug up on him for a little while first. She ran her fingers up and down his spine slowly and up to his neck, giving him a slight massage. He seemed a bit tense, and she figured that she already knew why. She pressed a kiss against his temple and smiled mischeviously.
"I don't have to be a mind reader to know what you're thinking about." She said and ran the hand she had on his thigh slowly up and down. She climbed off the bed and smiled down at him. Her fingers playing with the ties of her robe. She bit her bottom lip and smiled down at him as she pulled the tie apart. Sure, she had news to share, but she wanted to make sure he was in a good mood before she said anything else. As far as she remembered, seeing her in sexy red lingerie was always something that put him in a good mood. In fact, it usually put them both in a very excellent mood. She slid out of her robe and smiled as she posed for him in her scantily clad outfit. "I was thinking the same thing." She said and then giggled a bit. "... before i dozed off that is." She said with a laugh and was suddenly greatful for the day he'd given to do with as she pleased. She'd showered, shaved, and then briefly spent some time agonizing over the fact that she was pregnant. Now that she knew that she was, she had to take advantages like this when she had them. After all, soon she'd be fat, and she just wouldn't look as good in her sexy lingerie. Of course, that was still a while away, but not too long. So, she'd just have to seduce him as much as possible before she got to big and bloated to want to even show him her body.

Sometimes, it really did seem kind of odd to Ash that he was all... you know, married. After so many years of being a big man-whore, you'd think that settling down wouldn't have come as naturally as it had, but, it turns out, his mother had been right all along. Once he'd found the right person, it really wasn't all that hard to just... commit. He knew what he had with Sophie, he knew how she made him feel, he knew that she was... it. She was the one. She was his soul mate. The concept of soul mates seemed so... so... silly, juvenile, like something a hack romance writer would come up with, but Ash couldn't shake the feeling that that was what he had with Sophie. She filled a need he didn't even know he had. Wasn't that what love was? Somebody giving you something you never really knew you needed but couldn't imagine life without? Sophie gave him love. She gave him... amazing feelings of just... warmth, comfort, security, contentment, she made him feel great. Even just sitting here, watching her sleep, there was nowhere else he'd rather be, no one else he'd rather be with. There was a time that Ash couldn't believe he could feel like this in regards to another person, to feel that they were so utterly important to him that if they weren't around, he'd feel lost. Without Sophie, life would've lost its shine. He didn't work in the most chipper of careers, he didn't have the most ideal life, but with her, he couldn't deny that he was happier than he'd ever imagined he could be. Sometimes he wished they could have a normal life, you know, a house, steady jobs, circle of friends, holiday greeting cards... that kinda thing.
But Sophie was all he really needed. Any kind of life was acceptable so long as he could share it with her. She was... the lynch pin to his existence, the source of all his joy and happiness, the reason he could derive any sort of positive feelings from this life of his. Plus she was hot. Which... just made things even more great. He'd never met a woman who could wear a negligee as well as she could... and he didn't have any problems with admitting that was one of the reasons he'd married her. What's one shallow one in a sea of very deep, very sensible ones? It's not like his boyish good looks were going to go unnoticed by her, right? He was actually very happy to say they didn't. Ever. Every time she looked at him, every time she got that little grin of hers, he really did feel so... appreciated? Cherished. That's a good word. Fitting word. Very fitting. She made him feel like he was completely and totally adored. Which was probably true. Come on. She was crazy about him. He could tell! Partially 'cause he was crazy about her.
As soon as she spoke, showing him that she wasn't as asleep as he'd at first suspected, he grinned. Maybe he was a little ticked at himself for possibly waking her up, (she was a light sleeper) but that she was all awake wasn't something to grouse about. Hearing her voice made him all happy. Being around her made him all happy, but... there were few sounds he preferred more than that of her voice. No sounds actually. Besides maybe her laugh. Or... other... fun noises. That he enjoyed causing. And maybe he'd get to hear them tonight. Possibly. If she was up for it. Which... she might well be, she was pretty much just as frisky as he was.
"I am staring."
Watching her as she opened her eyes and granted him a grin, his own smile broadening, "And I'm also back."
Chuckling when she told him she was just dreaming about him, "Oh really? Fun dream? Did we get up to anything interesting?"
Scooting toward him, giving him a gentle kiss on the lips, one that he returned with a healthy measure of contentment, "Did I ever tell you that I love your welcomes? They're so... yum."
Ash was pretty sure that he'd told her how much he enjoyed her welcomes about... a million times by now, but he really did like telling her because he really, really liked her welcomes. It was difficult to recall one time that he'd come home to anything less than a big, warm, happy reception with kisses and hugs and... naked fun. Sophie was great like that. And... in every other way. Sometimes he was kinda dumbstruck at how lucky he was to have her in his life. Whatever she saw in him that made her say "yes" to that big ol' fateful question he'd popped all that time ago, he was pretty damned delighted it was there. Or... she thought it was there. Because he couldn't imagine his life without Sophie in it.
Lacing his arms around her when she set her chin on his shoulder, loving their closeness, (as usual) he wondered why he didn't just skip the library and decide to have lots and lots of motel sex with Sophie instead. Probably 'cause research was important and he didn't want to die due to lack of book learnin'... And she deserved some alone time, you know, a chance to relax, do what she liked, get some rest. Sex was amazing and all, but peace and quiet was fun too. Not... as fun, but he wanted to let her know that he respected her right to relax and take a break.
"Research was... really boring. And I missed you. Too much. I need a research buddy or I get really bored and just... sort of fall into a stupor. Plus! I like making out with you against the bookshelves! It's so... collegey!"
Snorting at how transparent he apparently was, he really did love that about Sophie, she was just as into the whole naked good-time thing as he was. Plus she was able to read him really well. She got him. And he loved that most of all. She understood who he was, what he was about, and... she just clicked with him. They had this connection, this... bond. He felt closer to her than he'd ever felt toward anyone else in his entire life.
Plus the sex was phenomenal.
As she got up off the bed and started playing with the ties on her robe, he felt elated. Like, really really thrilled. They'd had sex more times than he could count, but each time was just... wow. Each time was the best time. And that sounded kind of weird and confusing... but... you know, so's marriage. Weird, confusing and so utterly amazing if you're doing it with the right person that you'll find yourself wondering how you ever did without them.
"Oh! Great! So you wanna watch TV too? 'cause they've got a LOST marathon on and I really need to catch up..."
Shrugging his shoulders slightly, smirking coyly, "Or we could go with my first thought and have crazy monkey sex. Which I'd prefer. The day I let a hot girl go to waste is the day I turn in my man cards. Which means I'll be dead. Especially since she's my wife. And... you.. look hot. Salivatingly hot. I mean, I think I'm about to start drooling. So."
Playfully wiping at his chin with the back of his hand, pretending to brush away said drool (not that he'd be surprised if there was actually some there, she was damned hot), "Did I tell you how hot I think you are? I think I did, but... I think I've gotta say it again. At least... ten times tonight. And then in the morning. Because you are... wow."

- - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - _________________________________________________ Sophie had known about Ash before she'd even met him. She hadn't known the time or place where she'd meet him, and she didn't know his name, but he'd been her prince since she was 6 years old. Not all her visions were of death and pain, about 20% of them were about him as she was growing up. She'd fall asleep and just know what he was doing, or what he would do. She couldn't actually check, since she didn't know him. He was just a little boy that was in her dreams a lot. Then as her powers developed, she realized that he might not just be a figment of her imagination. She was never in the dreams herself. It was him, and the way he lived his life. She pretty much grew up with him, falling asleep, and seeing his face every night. It was like watching a one man television show. Sure, there were recurring cast members in his life, but it was all about him. When she was 6, he was a little boy like her. When she was a teenager, he was a teen like her. When she was an adult, he was an adult like her. It wasn't until he started hunting that her visions really kicked into high gear, and she saw him all the time. She never really realized it, but her visions, every single one of them was connected to him. So, when he'd showed up in her shop that day, she couldn't just let him get away. She'd been dumbfounded, and had practically tripped over herself to find out his name, but it was worth it to finally be face to face with the guy who was literally, the guy of her dreams.
That night, the night they'd met, she'd dreamt about them being together, lying in bed, and it was the first time she was ever in one of her dreams about him. It had been odd, but it had also been hopeful. If that one dream, out of all the things she'd seen, came true, she'd be the happiest woman in the world. Luckily for her, it had. He was right there with her, and they'd laid in bed together many times. She couldn't imagine a more perfect man for her. She knew a lot about him already, and he'd probably been a bit surprised by that, but he knew she was a psychic, so it wasn't that off-putting, she hoped. After all, he'd ended up marrying her. It felt bad that she ruined the surprise for herself, but of course she'd dreamt about it before it happened. She wasn't sure when to expect it, since her visions and dreams had no specific time frame, but she'd known it was coming. So, she'd just kept it a secret from him. She didn't want to give away the surprise in case he was planning it, and if he wasn't planning on asking her yet, she didn't want to scare him away. She'd waited until after they were married to tell him that she'd already known he was going to marry her and propose, not in that order, obviously.
So, now that she was married to him, she couldn't imagine how it could get any better. He was an amazing husband, and they worked so well together. They both helped each other with the boring things in life, and he laid her out like nobody's business. She couldn't believe she'd ever had sex with a man before him. Honestly, the things he could do with his hands, was enough to make her say yes all over again. In fact, she often found herself saying "yes" to him, although, he didn't always have to ask her questions. He just illicited them from her... with his tongue. She smiled a bit thinking about the many times they'd been together. It never got old, and she never got tired of being with him. It was like every time just felt so different and good, that there was no comparing them. They were pretty much all magnificent.
"creeper." She whispered softly before greeting him in the usual fashion. She smiled when he complimented her. "I hope their yum." She said and kissed his cheek quickly. "I brushed my teeth today." She said with a laugh and smiled at him with a big toothy fake grin to show off how white her teeth were. Not that they were particularly white, and she doubted he'd care anyway. He was her husband, and he loved her. She couldn't decide if she loved him more than he loved her, or if it was the other way around. They were pretty damn equal. He had ways of showing his appreciation, and so did she. Most of them consisted of certain sexual favors they knew that the other person enjoyed, but they also did other nice couply things for each other. As she was staring at him right now, and wishing she was tasting his lips again, she couldn't quite think of any, but she'd come up with some later. Right now, she wanted to be kissing him. All thoughts of the test currently lying on the bathroom floor had currently dissapated from her mind.
"I like that too!" She said and gave him a quick squeeze with her arms and then a pouty face. "... but you told me to stay here." She said and grimaced. She understood that they both needed their space, but considering how dangerous his job was, she wanted to suck up all the time he had to be with her. She didn't need space. She needed him, usually in bed, horizontally. Of course, she also needed him for all the other things that made her smile. The little jokes he made, or his tickling beard, or the way he smiled when he thought she was cute and didn't think she was looking. Those were the things she needed, not some day to relax. She could relax when she was dead. Right now, she wanted to get active with her husband, in more ways than one.
She smiled as she stood in front of him. She never got sick of those adoring lust filled eyes, because she knew she looked exactly the same when she looked at him. She was like puddy in his hands, and he probably didn't even know that half the time. She laughed a bit and tapped his nose. "I'm not interested in watching television." She said and smiled running her finger down his lips to his chest and down the front of his body. She smiled at him teasingly and bit her bottom lip as she leaned in, pressing her lips against his ear. "I'm interested in much more hands-on... activities." She smiled and nibbled at his earlobe a bit before pulling away. She laughed again at his crazy monkey sex idea. She loved him so much. She couldn't help it. It just filled her entire body until it burst with the emotion of it all.
She laughed at him as he wiped at his mock drool. She leaned in and kissed him just below his mouth and trailed a couple kisses up to his lips. She put her hands on either side of his face and kissed him more deeply. She slid onto the bed, putting one leg on either side of him. She pulled away from their kiss and grinned. "God, i missed you." She said and kissed him again as she sat straddling his lap. She could hold off on her big announcement a little while longer. Maybe she'd just wait until he'd drifted off to sleep after they'd finished with what they'd started, and whisper it to him. So that'd be like telling him, but not. He might ask questions when she started gaining weight like crazy and craving snickers and pickles at 2 in the morning, but she'd cross that bridge when they came to it.

Most guys when they got married had to worry about pretty mundane things, like whether or not they could always be there for their wives, whether they'd be able to make them happy as much as they wanted, whether or not they could give them the time and focus they deserved. Ash worried about that stuff too, they were pretty frequent concerns for him, he really did worry a lot over that sort of stuff with Sophie, he wanted to be with her every waking hour of every day (and all the not waking ones, she was his favorite nap buddy ever) but that wasn't all he had to worry over. There was other stuff. Really worrying stuff, stuff that was just... really... dark, you know? Worrying about dying, worrying about her dying, worrying about something really horrible happening to her on one of these hunts, worrying about being sucked into some freaky dimension and never being able to see her again... This was pretty crazy stuff, stuff that no sane person should really have to worry about, but this wasn't exactly the sanest line of work there ever was. So... among concerns over paying Sophie all the attention she deserved or fretting over a romantic evening they had planned, he had to worry about vampires and werewolves and demons and stuff. It was... pretty taxing. If it hadn't been for the amazing stress relief Sophie provided, he wasn't really sure that he'd have been able to cope with it. As it was though, she gave him a reason to want to, a reason to want to deal with all that crap, all those worries and just overcome them, get to grips with them, soldier on and try to focus on the good, on the positive. Sophie was the greatest motivator in his life, and the thought of coming home and holding her in his arms was enough to make him endure anything, fight any nasty creature, soldier on in any supernatural situation and face any horror. He knew that without the thought of her to motivate him, he'd probably have bitten the big one a long time ago. She gave him purpose. Reason. That was just one of the reasons he loved her so damned much.
Another was that she knew him even better than he knew himself. She could cut past all his bullshit, all this defenses and his bluster and his facade and just... get to the real heart of things, she could reach the real him, under all that pent up rage and frustration and set-jaw determination. She could reach that part of him, the part of him that he'd hid away since he was a kid. Growing up he felt like he had to be so macho, like some swaggering cowboy or else his dad would never be proud of him, nobody would take him seriously, he'd be... well. Not a man. Sophie had made him see that he didn't need to pile on all that false macho crap around her. She loved him for who he really was. She loved him for the man he never really let the world see, and for everything else. For that and for so many other reasons, he'd promised himself a long time ago to never let her slip away, to hold on to her for as long as he lived. She was a catch. She was the most unique girl he'd ever met, and he would have done anything he had to to make her happy, to see her smile, to hear her laugh. And not so long ago, he'd have thought that was corny as Hell, some lame-ass Hallmark card type definition of how marriage should be, how love should be, but Sophie... Sophie made it all real for him. This wasn't the ideal situation, the hunter thing, but she'd still made it like a dream, like... well. Heaven. Maybe it didn't seem very Heavenly when they were out there fighting screaming demons and drooling monsters, but afterward, when they had time to themselves, time to just... reflect, to just be with each other, it was pretty much exactly what he'd pictured Heaven to be like. But... probably even better. Sophie had pretty much defined paradise for him.
When he was younger, the idea of married life had been more or less anathema to him. He never wanted to settle down, he never wanted to tie himself to another woman, and it had taken him a while to really mature to the extent that he could do it. Ok, that wasn't true. As cynical as he acted, as shallow as he seemed to be, he really did believe, deep down, that he'd find some girl that'd complete him and... that'd just be it, that'd be him settled. Forever. He'd find his other half, his soul mate, and he'd just... fall in love. He'd marry her and he'd never look back, never regret it. He'd tried to tell himself that it'd never happen, that he'd never find that special someone, but Sophie had come along, proving him so utterly wrong that he'd felt kind of stupid. But... somehow he didn't care. He was just thrilled that she'd found her way into his life, and even if he had to drop years worth of self-delusion to do it, he knew he wanted to be with her. Not just in the sexual sense or something, but in every sense. She made him feel so good that he didn't even have words to accurately describe that feeling. He couldn't pass that up. He couldn't pass her up. She was amazing and he didn't want to let her go. Not ever.
So, eventually, he popped the question and she made him the happiest guy in the world when she said yes. Later on, after they were married, she told him that she'd already seen it happen, that she'd dreamed about it, had visions about it. That just made him even happier. It was fate that they'd end up together. He wasn't the kind of guy who usually believed in something like fate, something so absolute and overbearing, but in this case he was willing to make an exception. Somehow, thinking that it was written in the stars or something that he'd marry Sophie seemed... really fitting. Like something this grand could only really be hinted at by something that... huge, something that significant. She'd been worried that he'd freak about all that stuff, even if he'd known she was a psychic since the moment he'd met her, but he hadn't. At all. It must made him feel even better about them, and made him even more determined to do whatever he had to do to make this work, to let her know how happy she made him just by existing.
Also, by being as frisky as he was. That was... a definite plus. Ash had known some pretty frisky women in his time, but only a few of them could keep up with him, and only a few of those seemed to share the almost constant desire he had for naked and naked related activities. Sophie was one of those. Definitely. She was just as horny as he was just as often. And that was great, because he figured he'd probably have gone crazy if he wasn't able to make mad monkey love with someone as gorgeous as her whenever he felt the overwhelming urge to do so. Which was a lot.
As she straddled him, Ash couldn't help but think that this was just further proof that their respective sex drives synced up oh so very well. The kisses were breath taking as usual, and again as usual, he returned them with gusto, absolutely loving the taste of her lips, the sensation he felt when she pressed hers against his. It was yummy. She was... very... very yummy. His yummy wife! Oh he liked the sound of that.
"I missed you too! As you can probably tell."
Setting his hands on her shoulders, rubbing them for a few seconds before drawing them up her neck, cupping her face and grinning like a teenager, "Wow... I married a babe."
